Pygora Goat Kids: They earn their keep! in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho For Sale

We have a few Spring Pygora Goat babies to offer for sale.
Pygoras are the best choice if you want a return on your investment!
Pygoras make great pets for children and adults. They are smaller than dairy breeds, but larger than Pygmy or dwarf breeds, and can be trained to walk on a leash and carry a small pack for hiking.
Pygoras are easy on fences, will eat certain weeds and brush, and only eat 1.5-3 lbs. of grass hay per day.
Pygoras come in three hair types and are sheared twice a year, yielding between 3/4 Lb. to 4 lbs. of fiber per shearing depending on the coat type. Their fiber sells for $4.00-$12.00 per ounce, washed(depending on hair type) or $2.00-$6.00, unwashed, right off the animal, after shearing.
Pygora fleece keeps it's silky, curly characteristics throughout the life of the goat, unlike the Angora goats, which tend to produce only rug quality fiber after 3 years. Pygoras live to 10-14+ years and produce lovely fiber for most of these years, with proper care.
Pygoras can be used for Milk and meat, though if you are selling the fiber why would you want to butcher your money maker?
Pygoras are hardy, easy to raise and very fun to watch and play with.
Raising Pygoras just makes good sense and is a great hobby with a return.
We currently have three males for sale that can be bottle raised if you choose. Our goats are from a CAE/CL free herd. Babies will have colostrum, their CDT vaccines and can be banded for a wether fiber goat. Our goats do have horns, we do not disbud, so if you choose to, you will have to have this done ASAP by your vet at your cost. Our goats are Purebred, but not registered.

We accept Paypal for deposits, goat kids will not be held/reserved with out a $100. deposit and final payment due at time of pickup or delivery. We are happy to deliver for an additional few dollars for gas, depending on where you live. If kept till weaned, the babies will be ready in July.
Our farm is closed for the season to visitors due to a washed out road and lots of muddy clay conditions, but we are happy to provide photos and bring the kids to Coeur d' Alene or Spokane Valley for viewing. We can also meet you at the lower part of our property, before the road gets really bad.
